Warranty Claim

We are certainly sorry that you are having problems with your mattress. We have used the majority of our manufactures for well over 20 years, and although not very common, sometimes a bad apple can enter the bunch. Our manufacturer’s warranties cover a multitude of possible defects to ensure that if your product is defective, you are in good hands.

What to know before getting started on your claim:

  • All warranties are backed and upheld by the manufacturer, not by Bed’r Mattress. However, we will gladly assist you through the process to ensure that the right steps are made in filing your claim.
  • Each manufacturer has their own set of warranty guidelines, and these can vary per product. Your mattress would have been accompanied by a warranty packet that will fully outline the details of what is or is not covered under warranty. If you are unable to locate the warranty packet, contact us, and we will be glad to provide you with one!
  • Transportation fees are not covered by the manufacturer, any transportation fees that may occur are the responsibility of the customer.
  • Proof of purchase (invoice) and a photo of the manufacturer’s law tag are required to initiate the warranty claim process.
  • Bed’r Mattress will submit your claim to the appropriate manufacturer on your behalf. You will be contacted within 3-5 business days and provided with the next steps. If you have questions or concerns, please contact us at warranty@bedrmattress.com

What does a mattress warranty cover?

Your mattress warranty protects you from measurable defects that affect the structural integrity of the mattress. Generally, measurable body impressions greater than 1.5″ are covered under warranty. Some premium models offer coverage when impressions are 0.75″ or greater. Coverage will vary from manufacturer to manufacturer, so it is important to check your warranty card for details.

What’s not covered?

  • Comfort is subjective and is not covered by the warranty unless the comfort issue is the effect of a measurable defect.
  • Mattress Handles on nearly every mattress are designed to be decorative. They are not built to carry the full weight of the mattress and should never be used to lift or move the mattress. Damage to the mattress from improper use of the decorative handles is not covered by the warranty.
  • Mold is a product of the environment the mattress is kept in and is not considered a manufacturer defect.
  • Top Cover Stitching on most mattresses is mainly for aesthetics. Strings that are loose/unraveling are generally not covered.

What VOIDS a mattress warranty?

  • Improper Support: Your manufacturer’s warranty requires that your mattress is supported by a foundation/bed frame/adjustable base that is structurally capable of carrying the weight of the mattress and purchaser(s). The manufacturer may require proof of the quality of the foundation, adjustable base, or bed frame.
  • Improper Bed Frame: With king- and queen-size mattresses, the bed frame must have a center support beam and five to six legs.
  • Missing Law Tag(s): The law tags provide the manufacture date and warranty codes needed to file a claim.
  • Stains/Soiling: Moisture and liquids compromise the structural integrity of the product and make the bed unsanitary. For health & safety reasons, the manufacturer reserves the right to deny any warranty coverage based on stains or soiling. This includes, but is not limited to, discoloration, mold, water stains, etc.
