We recommend, and experts say, that it is a healthy resolve to replace your mattress set every 7-12 years on conventional sleep sets and 15-20 years on specialty mattresses like latex or memory foam. As we age, our bodies change and so do our comfort and support needs.

Some mattresses are more susceptible to this than others. Body conformability is actually a positive thing in plush mattresses. This means the mattress is cradling your body and relieving pressure. If you see no conformance then you may have a problem. Most mattresses are warrantied to cover conformability over 1 1/2 inches and specialty mattresses are warrantied on 3/4 inch.

Actually, the boxspring can be the first thing to go in a sleep set. It works like the foundation on a house. It supports the weight of the mattress all day and night, as well as supporting you as you sleep. Replacing the boxspring is essential to receiving maximum performance from your new sleep set. Also, most manufacturers will only warranty your new mattress purchase when it’s used on their matching box spring or foundation. Alternatively, you can consider using an adjustable base as your foundation. This allows you to adjust your sleeping position at the touch of a button. If you choose a split king set up (two twin extra long mattresses), you can customize your position totally independent of your partner’s.

To ensure your warranty by protecting your mattress from stains or any other accidents that may occur. Warranties are voided by the manufacturers when stains are present. Protecting your mattress lessens your chances of wear and tear. We sweat and shed skin cells in our sleep. Without the all new, state of the art, waterproof mattress protector, these excretions seep into the mattress, causing the mattress to break down and become unclean. Research shows that an unprotected mattress can double in weight in only 5 years time.

We have four locations across East Tennessee. You’ll find our stores right on Kingston Pike including Bearden, Cedar Bluff and Farragut. Plus, we have a location in Oak Ridge! We offer quick, local and regional delivery with our own dedicated team. Plus, we offer drop shipping to anywhere in the USA!

We are open Monday-Saturday from 10am – 6pm at all locations. Sunday hours are available by appointment.

The Bed’r Mattress brand is designed with local manufacturers right here in Tennessee. We also carry select luxury mattress brands just like the ones you’d sleep on at Blackberry Farm and Blackberry Mountain that are made in Virginia. When you shop with us you support local businesses, including local manufacturers.

We build every mattress on our floor to provide comfort and durability. At Bed’r Mattress, you can get a well-made queen size mattress starting at just $249! However, keep in mind that we have many options beyond this price point that may enhance your sleep even further.

We keep many of our best-sellers in stock at the warehouse, meaning they’re available quickly. If we need to order your new mattress from one of our local manufacturers, the typical turnaround time is about one week, but no more than two!

As a local company we work directly with local manufacturers (two in Tennessee and one in Virginia) to design the mattresses we sell. We are involved in the entire process from start to finish. We make sure our mattresses are made with the best materials and will exceed both your expectations in comfort and in longevity. Having our hands on the materials from the beginning means you’re getting quality over short cuts.

A hybrid provides the best of both worlds! You’ll get the support and durability of innerspring paired with the comfort of memory foam and/or latext foam.

In the rare case that you’re not loving your new mattress you can rest easy with our 6-month protection plan. Working with local manufacturers allow us to offer options to ensure that you end up with a sleep system that works and helps you achieve better sleep. Those options can include customization adjustments with our local manufacturers, comfort additions, or even accommodation purchases.
